Law 106-402 to address the unmet needs of people with
developmental disabilities through system-wide advocacy,
planning and demonstration projects.

Reaching Citizens
Delaware Foundation Reaching
Citizens (DFRC) is a well-respected Delaware foundation
dedicated to raising funds and consciousness in support of
programs that enrich the lives of Delawareans with intellectual
disabilities. Established in 1956, the private, nonprofit
organization is dedicated to identifying and funding programs
based on community need. DFRC has provided partial
financial support for BIAD’s Social Events Program through a
grant in 2009-2010.

United Way of Delaware's mission is to maximize the community's
resources to improve the quality of life for all Delawareans.
United Way of Delaware partners with social service agencies,
businesses, government, other nonprofits, and concerned
individuals to achieve results that matter and a lasting impact
