The Brain Injury Association of Indiana (BIAI) is a 501c3 not-for-profit, statewide membership organization comprised of people with brain injuries, family members, friends and professionals. BIAI was the first chartered state affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America.  BIAI was founded in 1982 and is the only organization in Indiana serving individuals with TBI, their families and the professionals who treat them. BIAI is dedicated to providing information, support, educational opportunities, advocacy, and awareness.

This is accomplished through:

  • Acting as an information resource through our Indiana Toll-Free Helpline and The Jackson Family Library
  • Publishing our Resource Directory
  • Publishing a quarterly newsletter
  • Sponsoring annual educational programming
  • Facilitation of 14 statewide support groups
  • Fostering prevention awareness
