Support Groups
The Brain Injury Association of
RI, Inc currently sponsors five support groups at various
locations through out Rhode Island

New Support Group!
The Brain Injury Association of
Rhode Island is pleased to announce a new support group for
the Newport County area. The
support group for survivors and their families meets at
Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center at Newport Hospital 16
Powel Ave. Newport, RI from 6:15 - 7:45 pm, the second
Monday of each Month. Registration is preferred. Call
401-461-6599 for more information or to register.
NOTE:
The Providence support group
will begin meeting again on the 1st
Wednesday of the month starting on September
1, 2010. Southern New England
Rehabilitation Center will sponsor the
support group which will meet in the Our
Lady of Fatima Hospital Cafeteria from 4:00
- 5:00 pm. Call 456-3944 for more
information.
The Rehabilitation Hospital
of R.I. will continue to meet on the 4th
Tuesday of the month but at 2:30 pm - 4:00
pm. Please call 766-0800 x.5311 for more
information.
Cranston Support Group
Meeting Schedule for 2009
The Brain Injury Support Group
at the Brain Injury Association of RI will continue to meet
from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month.
Requests for sign language interpreters must be received by
one week before the support group.
The remaining 2010 Support Group

of charge to individuals with brain injury, family members,
professionals, provider agencies and organizations. Contact
