Photo Voice Project

Visit the Photo Voice projects at the Warwick Public Library during the month of November. The projects will then be displayed at Rhode Island Hospital from January 11 - 24, 2010.

PhotoVoice was a 10 week project sponsored by the Brain Injury Resource Center this summer. Participants were given a camera and sent off to take pictures of what their brain injury meant to them. Over the summer, as a group the participants viewed and discussed each other photographs. Each participant then selected and enlarged a photograph, wrote a narrative to accompany the photo and created a display of their finished work. If you can’t make the reception, be sure to view the photographs on display throughout the month of November.
