Action Alert: Help the Senate pass S. 768

16-Apr-2015 Today there will be a vote on the Steve Gleason Act of 2015 (S. 768), which was introduced by Senator Vitter (R-Lousiana).

S. 768 is legislation to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide Medicare beneficiary access to eye tracking accessories for speech generating devices (SGD) and to remove the rental cap for durable medical equipment under the Medicare program with respect to SGDs.

Right now, Senator Wyden (D-Oregon) is the only member withholding consent on the bill. Senator Vitter's office has asked that grassroots organizations nationwide call Senator Wyden's office ASAP urging him to pass the Steve Gleason Act.

Contact Senator Wyden's D.C. office at (202) 224-5244.
