BIAA Submits Comments on Essential Health Benefits

22-Dec-2012 The Brain Injury Association of America submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on proposed regulations of essential health benefits under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. BIAA strongly supported health care reform because the mandatory benefit categories and non-discrimination provisions assured all Americans, including individuals who sustain brain injuries, would have access to high quality, comprehensive, affordable health care, regardless of their state of residency.
