Even though I'd never heard of William Bryan Jennett before today, I became well acquainted with his work, as well as that of others in 2005. It was then that my 15 year old son sustained a severe traumatic brain injury in an ATV accident. I came away from this experience with profound gratitude for the amazing health care professionals who dedicate their lives to treating and stabilizing victims of TBI. I feel as though the debt we owe them can never adequately be repaid.

I was injured 9-19-70, in California. I sustained a massive closed head
injury. To the best of my knowledge, I stayed in coma in excess of 43 days.
Life after my injuries has been such a learning experience for me. This man
has helped so many people. He will be sorely missed by all. My condolences
to all those left behind.

I did not know William Bryan Jennett, but just tonight found a webpage that included his obituary and the eulogy written. This said, I would like to give thanks to this gentleman from all of us who have TBI, for what seemed to be his life works and contribution that obviously will help more who follow on the same path and in the footprints that will be there forever.
