No Fearful Memory
by: Sabina K. Ehrenhardt

No fearful memory,
Of the accident,
Sleeping was she,
Angels with blaring sirens sent,
Save her, saver her, said
           HE.

Excited for recovery,
Eager to run alone,
Soon she will be set free,
From the caring helpers she has known,
Help me, help me, says
           she.

In a place not home,
Off white and coldly real,
She waits time to heal,
Ah me, she sighs,
          ah me.
