Community Rehab Care

Amy Karas is a speech-language pathologist with over 18 years of experience providing speech, language, cognitive, and functional therapy to adults with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, as well as adults with non-specific cognitive disorders. She serves as the Educational Coordinator at Community Rehab Care with a primary focus on outcomes and trainings specific to insurance, documentation, and patient care in a post-acute rehab setting. Karas also provides case management services to individuals with TBI through the Statewide Head Injury Program (SHIP) and facilitates a Community Aphasia Support Group. She has presented at a variety of conferences and small group trainings for other health care providers, case managers, families, and survivors.
