The Brain Injury Association of America - Texas Division is committed to bringing help, hope, and healing to all Texans impacted by brain injury.
  • More than 144,000 Texans sustain a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) every year
  • More than 5,700 Texans are permanently disabled every year from a TBI
  • An estimated 381,000 Texans (2% of the population) live with a disability caused by a TBI

Through our direct affiliation with the Brain Injury Association of America, we are able to build our voice throughout the Lone Star State with constant support from the nation's oldest and largest nationwide brain injury advocacy organization.

Mission

Our mission is to advance brain injury prevention, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all individuals impacted by brain injury. Through advocacy, we bring help, hope, and healing to millions of individuals living with brain injury, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

How Can I Get Involved?

With so many of our fellow Texans impacted by brain injury every day, there is no better time than now to find out how you can make a difference. Please email us for information on getting involved with a steering committee in your area as we work to increase awareness of brain injury, provide information, resources, and support for individuals who have sustained brain injuries and their families, and advocate for improved funding and services across Texas.
