March 9, 2013 (Saturday) - Round Rock (Metro Austin) Fall 2013 - San Antonio - Watch for Details Thank you for visiting the home page of the 2nd Annual Texas Walk for Brain Injury events scheduled in four cities beginning March 9, 2013. These walks are not only great fun, they also promote efforts to raise brain injury awareness and to generate much needed funds for the BIAA – Texas Division's programs and services. The 2013 fundraising goal is $180,000 and we invite you to register today and to begin building your team. We hope to have more than 2,500 participants statewide and we challenge each participant to raise a minimum of $100 to meet or beat our goal. Participants may walk as individuals and create or join a team, perhaps in honor or memory of someone.. The First Annual Texas Walk last March in Irving was super successful with nearly 600 participants and 1,000 contributors who raised more than $60,000. With your help we can make brain injury outcomes better than ever. You can register online and begin your fundraising efforts right now. Just click on the city where you want to walk to get started. Once registered, you'll be able to customize your individual or team page and then send invitations to family, friends and colleagues to join you at the walk or donate to your page. It’s great fun to compete with other individuals and teams. You can win cool prizes for most funds raised, most team members, biggest support group team, best team T-shirts, best Facebook page, most Twitter followers, most…well you get the idea. Get creative. MAKE IT FUN. March 9, 2013 (Saturday) - Round Rock (Metro Austin) Fall 2013 - San Antonio - Watch for Details Questions? Contact Bill Roof, Director, BIAA--Texas Division
