Wayne A. Gordon, Ph.D., ABPP/Cn, is the director of the New York TBIMS at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York City. His recent research is focused on cognitive rehabilitation, screening for TBI, developing and testing the utility of behavioral interventions to improve the function of individuals with TBI, and examining the long-term secondary conditions associated with TBI. Dr. Gordon has been the project director on many federally funded grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and NIDRR. He is a member of workgroups completing systematic review/guidelines of pediatric mild TBI and the definition of concussion respectively. He is an honorary director based on his role as chairperson of BIAA's research committee.
