Walk for Brain Injury Registration Instructions

The 2019 DFW Walk for Brain Injury is our signature fundraising and awareness event. This year, we are excited to host the Walk during Brain Injury Awareness Month (March).

I would like to create a team to Walk ‘n Roll.

  1. Visit the Walk for Brain Injury DonorPage Portal.
  2. Select “Join Us! Register Here” at the top of the page.
  3. Complete the form, including a username and password.
  4. Set your personal fundraising goal.
  5. Since you are registering a team of your own, select the “Create a Team” option and input your team name. If you would like to create a password for the team, be sure to provide it to members of your team.
  6. If you agree, select the box that says “I have read and understand the legal disclaimer.”
  7. Submit the form.
  8. On the second page, select one of two options:
    1. If you are not affiliated with a Walk for Brain Injury sponsor, select Walker Registration Fee.
    2. If you are affiliated with a Walk for Brain Injury sponsor, select Complimentary – Sponsor Registration.
  9. Complete and submit the contact and t-shirt information form.
  10. You are registered! You should immediately receive an email confirming your registration.

 

How do I manage my Walk for Brain Injury team?

  1. Each member of your team who will bowl with us on Saturday, March 30 must register. Visit the DonorPage Portal or share it with your team members.
  2. Select Login at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your username and password. As a reminder, you can find this in the registration confirmation email.
  4. Once you have logged in, select the My Team button on the far right.
  5. On the Team Captain page, you can:
    1. Select Design Your Team Page to make updates and upload pictures.
    2. Select Manage Your Team Members to copy a message encouraging friends and family to join you or create your own. If you already have team members registered, you can find their names and contact information on this page.
    3. Select View Team Donation Allocations to view each member of your team, their personal fundraising goal, and progress toward said goal.

How do I update and promote my personal fundraising page?

  1. Visit the DonorPage Portal at https://biausa.donorpages.com/WalkDallas2019.
  2. Select Login at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your username and password. As a reminder, you can find this in the registration confirmation email.
  4. To make updates:
    1. Select the Design/Edit button on the far right.
    2. Hover over sections of your fundraising portal to make changes. For example, you can create a story detailing your connection to brain injury, add blog articles, photos, and more.
  5. To promote your fundraiser:
    1. Select the Promote Page button on the far right.
    2. Follow any one of four links to encourage donations (via email and social media).

I would like to donate to the DFW Walk for Brain Injury.

  1. Visit the Walk for Brain Injury page.
  2. Select “General Donation” at the top of the page.
  3. Complete the form and select Next.
  4. Complete the secondary form and select Next.
  5. Enter your payment information and select Submit.
