Certified Concussion Specialist

The Brain Injury Association of America is convening a multi-disciplinary committee for the development of a Concussion Specialist Certification.

On behalf of the Brain Injury Association of America, Sage NeuroWellness is recruiting volunteer participants to contribute to the development of a Certified Concussion Specialist program for clinicians of all disciplines who diagnose and treat concussion/mTBI. Sage seeks the following experts with more than five years working in the field of brain injury and/or 100+ patients treated or referred for concussion:
- Volunteers agree to participate for the duration of the project (approximately 14 months).
- Volunteers attend monthly project meetings via GoToMeeting or GoToWebinar and committee meetings via teleconference or GoToMeeting.
- Volunteers will make individual contributions in identifying existing guidelines and gaps in services as well as developing clinical practice guidelines and educational content.
