Kathleen Bechtold Kortte, Ph.D., ABPP is the Director of the Brain and Stroke Rehabilitation Program at Hopkins Hospital, an interdisciplinary, community-re-entry rehabilitation program for individuals with brain injury. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University, completed a one-year internship specializing in neuropsychology at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship specializing in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is now faculty in that department. She is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and in Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Kortte specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation of brain dysfunction and the implementation of therapeutic interventions to promote adjustment to the cognitive and behavioral sequelae that occur following injury to the brain.
