Linda Mackay, MA, CCC-SLP, BRS-S, CBIST is the Managing Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center/Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in Hartford, Conn., and is Assistant Professor of Surgery, Section of Otolaryngology at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer. Mackay is a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders, and is a current board member of the ASHA Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and the Committee on Clinical Specialty Certification. She has numerous publications and national and international presentations in her areas of expertise including early TBI rehab intervention in the ICU and dysphagia.
