Host your own fundraiser to do more to improve the lives of individuals with brain injury.
Start Fundraiser DonateMillions of people sustain brain injuries each year, and chances are you know someone who has been personally affected by a brain injury. With your help, the Brain Injury Association of America can do more to help connect them to services, advocate for their needs, and provide a community of support. But we can’t do it alone.
We’re asking our supporters to help us extend our network by setting up a personal fundraiser and asking your friends, family, coworkers, and other members of your community to donate.
This is an opportunity for you to bring more people into our community and share why brain injury is important to you.
If you want to get involved but don’t want to start your own fundraiser, consider donating to one of our existing fundraising pages made by members of the brain injury community. View the fundraisers here.
The only thing standing in the way of BIAA’s ability to do more is a lack of funding. Help remove that barrier and start your own fundraiser today! Follow these steps:

“During BIAA’s 40th anniversary campaign, I obtained small and large contributions from my personal and professional networks helped by BIAA’s online fundraising tool. Stephanie Cohen from the development team assisted in creating a personal appeal to the individuals I identified, including sharing a link to my fundraising page, and tracked their responses. The whole process was simple and stress-free. I received an email every time someone donated, making it easy for me to respond with a thank-you note.
I am not what you would consider a “techie,” but the set up, combined with the support I received, required very little know-how. The people who donated to my campaign were thanked quickly and stewarded professionally by the BIAA staff. To assist BIAA in its mission, I highly recommend you fundraise using the BIAA online tool.”
