Healing A Head

Healing A Head

I was working as a TV journalist in New York City when my own life story was rewritten. Walking through a crosswalk, I was struck by a motorcyclist speeding through a red light.

I sustained a brain bleed and spent over a year navigating treatment for severe post concussive symptoms.

A search for answers to my own pain evolved into my passion for neuroscience. I became close with my therapy team, aligned with beautiful TBI support communities, and made the decision to dedicate my new life to helping other survivors of TBI find their own answers.

I am so thankful for the people that believed in a better future for me, and I am now studying to become an educator and advocate for brain injury awareness and recovery.
