Self-Advocacy Presentation Part 1 and 2

The Brain Injury Association of America – Maine Chapter (BIAA-ME) and Speaking Up For Us of Maine (SUFU) are offering two presentations on self-advocacy for survivors of brain injury and their family members, caregivers, and professionals supporting them. Self-advocacy includes the ability to speak up for yourself and the things that are important to you, and these presentations will provide tools and skills to support survivors in understanding and implementing self-advocacy in their lives. These presentations will be available for Maine brain injury survivors, family members and caregivers, professionals, and anyone in the Maine brain injury community.

Part I covered the basics of self-advocacy, and Part II will cover self-advocacy for brain injury survivors and caregivers.
